Senior AI Product Manager

1GLOBAL is a technology-driven global mobile communications provider helping enterprises and consumer brands deliver seamless connectivity worldwide. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own AI and automation initiatives that improve how our teams work, starting with Connect API and the workflows behind our connectivity platform. You will find the problems worth solving, define requirements and work with AI and platform engineers to ship tools teams use - measured by better outcomes, less manual effort and reliable daily use. Over time you will also help bring AI capabilities into our customer-facing products. We are hiring in Berlin, Germany, and Lisbon, Portugal.

About the Role

• Lead discovery with internal users and workflow owners to find where AI or automation makes a measurable difference.
• Own the vision, roadmap and backlog for your initiatives - prioritize value, impact, effort and risk, and decide what to pursue, defer or stop.
• Turn user needs into clear requirements, acceptance criteria and success measures, including exceptions and human review.
• Work with AI and platform engineers from discovery to rollout, agreeing on evaluation and release criteria and, with security and compliance, requirements for access, sensitive data and human approval.
• Deliver value from day one - stay hands-on, find the highest-friction workflows and ship working improvements early, keeping a continuous cadence of incremental delivery rather than long roadmap cycles.

• 5+ years in product management, with end-to-end ownership of technical products, APIs, platforms or internal tools.
• Hands-on experience delivering AI-native capabilities or AI-enabled workflows used in practice, and able to explain the decisions, adoption and results.
• You prototype your own ideas rather than only specifying them - comfortable using AI coding and automation tools to get something testable in front of users quickly.
• Practical understanding of LLM capabilities and limits, including retrieval from internal knowledge and tools or API calling.
• Confident using product data and user feedback to set baselines and assess impact; sound judgement on sensitive data and human oversight.
• Strong discovery and problem-solving skills, a track record of driving adoption, and clear written and verbal English.

• Internal AI platforms, knowledge tools, workflow automation or developer-facing products; familiarity with MCP.
• A software engineering or computer science background, or equivalent hands-on technical experience.
• SQL, API testing or hands-on prototyping; working proficiency in Portuguese or German a plus.
