Manufacturing Engineer, Slovakia (m/f/*)

As a Manufacturing Engineer in Banska Bystrica (Slovakia), you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

• Leads improving projects focusing on manufacturing process and also new product introductions
• Focus mainly on new project
• Machine guarding
• Vision system for Riveting Machines
• Prepared and optimized Standard Work, Standard Operating Procedure, Gaps with Work instructions (SOP and Dozuki)
• Routing correction
• Applying your understanding of manufacturing process automation, including 5S and collaborative robots
• Supports and Cooperate with Maintenance, Division Engineering to diagnostic and improving manufacturing machines, close cooperation with Environmental Safe and Health to secure best class in safety standards for employee

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/ degree from an accredited institution,
• Knowledge of English and Slovak in speech and writing,
• Knowledge Lean Manufacturing approach and Lean Six Sigma tools,
• Experience in Process Engineer or similar position in Manufacturing,
• Experience with Project Management in an interdisciplinary team,
• Knowledge of Drafting (AutoCad), Microsoft Office (Excel),

• General knowledge of automatization of manufacturing processes (5S, collaborative robots).

Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Knowledge of ISO´s is well appreciated

• Location: this is an on-site job with a requirement to work daily from 3M Plant in Banska Bystrica
• Travel: May include up to ~10% domestic and international
• Working pattern: full-time
• Remuneration details: 1890 - 2860 Euro gross/monthly dependent on skills and experience plus excellent benefits package.
