- Full- time: 12hr rotating shifts-Days & night shifts available
- Starting Rate: $20.46 + Shift Differentials

The person hired for the position of PACKAGING OPERATOR III will work at our INDIANAPOLIS, IN 3M plant site.
As a PACKAGING OPERATOR III you will have will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties:
- Operating automated assembly machines to pack out products
- Maintaining quality standards and safety standards
- Utilizing 3M Computer systems to track production and packaging cycles
- Maintaining communication with production coworkers and supervisors regarding production performance
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications.
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this 3M Production role, in compliance with U.S. labor and safety laws.
- Possess a High School Diploma / GED or higher (completed prior to start)
- Work Rotating Shifts, Overtime, Extended Hours, Weekends, Holidays as needed, and short notice shift coverage
- Minimum two (2) months of operating production machinery or CNC equipment in a private public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Basic computer knowledge
- 6 months to 1 year of experience working with production machinery or CNC equipment.
Applicants who meet the basic qualifications above will be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process.
