As a senior member of the team, you'll have the chance to influence enterprise-wide decisions, contribute to major transformation programmes and work closely with senior stakeholders across the business. Alongside leading complex analysis work, you'll help develop and coach Business Analysts, improve ways of working and support the growth of a more strategic, business-focused analysis capability. If you're motivated by solving complex problems, influencing change and developing others, this is a role where you can make a real impact.

Responsibilities

•    Lead business analysis activity across complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives
•    Work with business architects and stakeholders to understand business challenges and identify opportunities for improvement
•    Translate strategic goals, operating models and business architecture (business capabilities and value streams) into clear requirements, user stories and business outcomes
•    Facilitate workshops and collaboration across business, technology, product and change teams
•    Analyse end-to-end processes, helping to simplify ways of working and improve organisational performance
•    Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, providing insight and challenge to support decision-making
•    Assess the impact of strategic change across business areas, identifying risks, dependencies and opportunities to improve organisational effectiveness
•    Provide practice leadership for Business Analysts through coaching, mentoring, quality assurance and the development of standards, helping build a high-performing and strategically aligned analysis capability
•    Improve Business Analysis standards, tools and ways of working, while assuring the quality of analysis produced across the team

We’re committed to making our roles as accessible as possible, so we only ask for the minimum criteria. To thrive here, you’ll need to bring:

•    Significant Business Analysis experience within a large or complex organisation
•    Experience leading, coaching or developing Business Analysts and supporting high-performing teams
•    Strong requirements gathering, process analysis and problem-solving skills
•    Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence, challenge and build consensus
•    Experience leading workshops and facilitating discussions with a wide range of audiences
•    The ability to connect strategic objectives with operational delivery and practical solutions
•    Experience working on transformation, operating model, business improvement or organisational change initiatives
•    Experience working with Business Architecture to understand capability models and value streams, translating strategic intent into clear detailed requirements and processes
•    A pragmatic and collaborative approach, with the ability to work through ambiguity and deliver high-quality outcomes at pace

We know some people may hesitate to apply if they don’t meet every requirement. At Co-op, we’re committed to building diverse and inclusive teams, so if you’re excited about this role but your experience doesn’t align perfectly, we still encourage you to apply.
