- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1 year experience based on certification OR on-going mentorship program with group fitness supervisor preferred
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Must be able to appropriately operate the stereo and microphone system.
- →Must be able to communicate with GF coordinator via email correspondence on a regular basis. Other methods of communication may be in person, via text, via scheduling platform – GroupExPro or other system.
- →Must effectively lead and grow participation in prospective classes, according to the group fitness supervisor or other management.
- →Must effectively manage movement techniques and safety during prospective classes.
- →Must comply with certification requirements in teaching class and designing class
- →Creates an overall “positive” experience in regard to programming and effectiveness of class.
- →Completes and submits monthly volume and class instruction reports per the direction of the group fitness supervisor or other management
- →Provides equipment recommendations based on class needs and programming.
- →Must be able to actively recruit new members for group fitness classes and membership.
- →Participates regularly in group fitness meetings and feedback sessions.
- →Must be able to work in GroupExPro for class management OR other system if updated/changed
- →Must keep certifications up to date and participate in annual continuing education per direction of certifying body and/or group fitness supervisor
