- 0.3 FTE
- The department hours are 0800-1630, Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays. We are looking for a candidate available 5 days a pay period (8 hour shifts 3 days/2 days)
- Candidates should possess 1+ year of nursing experience; previous Wound, Ostomy, Hyperbaric experience is highly preferred. Certification in Wound, Ostomy or Hyperbaric is encouraged and supported.

AMCWC Hyperbaric and Wound Care team is proud to be a part of our hospital’s Magnet designation. We have the opportunity to collaborate between disciplines to meet our patient’s needs (such as lab, diagnostic imaging, interventional radiology and inpatient units). The entire team is part of our area’s Professional Governance that meets monthly and collaborates on process improvement and best practices for our area, as well as monthly staff meetings. The RNs work closely with our two wound care providers that are in clinic daily. The RNs and providers actively communicate and collaborate together to achieve great outcomes for our patients. We look forward to celebrating when we reach successes together!
The nursing team staffs the outpatient clinic as well as supports inpatients' with wound/ostomy/hyperbaric needs. These visits vary from new consults with the provider, provider follow-up visits and nurse dressing changes.
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
