About the Role
~1 min readWe are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with experience in pipe stress analysis to support the design and qualification of high-integrity piping systems for our advanced reactor projects. The ideal candidate will be proficient in ASME B31 piping codes and have experience or a strong interest in ASME Section III Class 1/2/3/A/B piping design.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Perform pipe stress analysis using industry-standard software (e.g., CAESAR II, AutoPIPE) in compliance with ASME B31.1, or B31.3.
- →Support the design, analysis, and documentation of nuclear piping systems under ASME Section III Class 1, 2, 3, A, or B requirements.
- →Conduct pipe support evaluations, thermal expansion assessments, and seismic/operating load analyses.
- →Interface with cross-functional teams including structural, thermal, and system design engineers.
- →Prepare calculation packages, analysis reports, and design documentation for regulatory and quality reviews.
- →Assist in the development and implementation of piping design standards and design review processes.

Nice to Have
~1 min read- 10+ years of experience in pipe stress analysis and piping system design.
- Experience with nuclear safety-related or safety-significant piping.
- Knowledge of Code Case N-755 (for HDPE piping) and Code Case N-122.
- Familiarity with P&IDs, pipe routing models, and piping isometrics.
- Experience with SmartPlant, AutoCAD Plant 3D, or similar platforms.
