~1 min read- →Design and develop electrical systems for new equipment installations on our mills, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and specifications for electrical equipment, considering factors such as efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- →Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed electrical projects, providing recommendations for optimal solutions.
- →Create detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation for equipment installation and maintenance purposes.
- →Procure necessary electrical components and materials, coordinating with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality assurance.
- →Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, troubleshooting any issues that may arise during the process.
- →Develop preventive maintenance plans for electrical equipment, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- →Provide technical support and training to maintenance personnel, ensuring proper operation and maintenance of electrical systems.
- →Stay updated on advancements in electrical engineering technologies and industry best practices, recommending innovative solutions for process improvement.
- →Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, promoting a culture of safety awareness and compliance within the organization.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Previous experience working with aluminum rolling mills preferred.
- Proven experience in electrical engineering, particularly in the design and installation of industrial electrical systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design and drafting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Experience with PLC programming, motor control systems, and power distribution networks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of work.
- Professional engineering license (PE) is a plus.
