We are seeking a highly analytical and client facing Senior Business Analyst/ Business Analyst to join our consulting practice. The role requires leading discovery engagements, analyzing business processes, documenting requirements, and translating business needs into structured functional solution documents for both clients and internal development teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with enterprise clients, particularly in banking, fintech, telecom, or consulting environments, and will be comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders, facilitating workshops, and producing high-quality deliverables.

This role serves as a bridge between business stakeholders, consulting teams, technical delivery teams, and cloud solution teams, ensuring that solutions are aligned with client objectives and delivered effectively.

1. →Client Discovery & Stakeholder Engagement
   • →Lead and facilitate discovery workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and stakeholder interviews.
   • →Understand client business models, operational workflows, regulatory requirements, and strategic goals.
   • →Identify pain points, inefficiencies, and opportunities for digital transformation, automation, or cloud adoption.
   • →Work closely with client stakeholders including:
     • →Business Heads
     • →Operations teams
     • →Risk and Compliance teams
     • →IT, Infrastructure, and Cloud teams
   • →Document current-state processes and define future-state models.
2. →Business Analysis & Requirements Management
   • →Elicit, analyze, and document:
     • →Business requirements
     • →Functional requirements
     • →Non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, availability, security)
     • →Process flows and use cases
   • →Convert high level business needs into clear, structured, and actionable requirements.
   • →Create:
     • →Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
     • →Functional Specification Documents (FSD)
     • →User stories and acceptance criteria
     • →Process flow diagrams and workflow maps
   • →Ensure requirements are traceable, prioritized, and aligned with project objectives.
3. →Solution Design & Functional Documentation
   • →Draft functional solution designs that translate business requirements into implementable system workflows.
   • →Collaborate with:
     • →Solution Architects
     • →Developers
     • →UI/UX teams
     • →QA teams
     • →Cloud architects and DevOps teams
   • →Provide clear functional guidance to development teams to ensure correct implementation.
   • →Review technical and solution designs to ensure business alignment.
   • →Support solution validation and functional testing.
4. →Reporting & Deliverables
   • →Prepare and publish:
     • →Discovery reports
     • →Gap analysis documents
     • →Feasibility assessments
     • →Solution recommendation reports
     • →Executive summaries and presentations
   • →Present findings and recommendations to senior client stakeholders.
   • →Maintain structured documentation repositories and ensure version control.
5. →Process Improvement & Advisory
   • →Analyze existing business processes and recommend:
     • →Automation opportunities
     • →Workflow improvements
     • →Operational efficiencies
     • →Cloud migration or modernization opportunities (where relevant)
   • →Assist clients in defining KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks.
   • →Support digital transformation initiatives and product design engagements.
6. →Project Support & Collaboration
   • →Work closely with project managers to:
     • →Define scope
     • →Estimate effort
     • →Manage requirement changes
   • →Support sprint planning and backlog grooming in Agile environments.
   • →Assist QA teams in defining test scenarios and validating functionality.
