This position works out of our Casa Grande, Arizona location in the Abbott Nutrition division. Our Nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow to keeping adult bodies strong and active. Lead the full project lifecycle including initiation, design, construction, and closeout
Develop and manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality
Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies
Prepare and review engineering designs, technical specifications, and construction documents
Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, permitting, and environmental requirements
Oversee construction, perform site inspections, and resolve field issues
Track project progress and communicate status to stakeholders
Manage budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities
Support capital planning and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
~1 min readBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical field
3–5 years of engineering and project management experience (capital/infrastructure projects preferred)
Strong knowledge of project management principles, construction methods, and delivery systems
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with MS Project or Primavera, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
Knowledge of contract administration and procurement
PMP certification (preferred, not required)
Familiarity with Design Control, GDP, cGMP, GAMP5, and FDA Computer Software Assurance (CSA)
