Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring and controlling all engineering activities of the Mechanical Discipline
- →Interdisciplinary coordination and support team building exercise
- →Proactive rather than reactive. Highlight any issues or problems in front of the management so as to help take remedial action on time
- →Active participation in progress review meetings, technical meetings, client meetings, and vendor meetings
- →Support Procurement-related activities such as raising Material requisitions (MR), Technical Bid Clarification/Evaluation (TBC/ TBE), Draft Purchase Requisitions
- →Support bidding team by raising RFQs, Technical evaluation of bids, and cost estimate
- →Support construction by responding to construction site-related technical queries (TQ)
- →Review and comment on GES plus engineering deliverables on a case-by-case basis
- →Ensuring safety and quality of deliverables.
- →Participate in Value engineering practices such as value engineering, lessons learned sessions, Risk Assessment/Management Studies and workshops, Constructability studies and workshops
- →Ensure Customer satisfaction and appreciation
- +10 years combined experience in Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals, Power Industry
- Experience working with GES plus/ EPC Contractors on Saudi Aramco jobs, SABIC and other reputed organizations
- Experience of attending FAT/SAT activities.
- Experience as support to pre-commissioning activities
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (BS, BE or B Tech) in Mechanical
- Training and certification courses
- Good Leadership and Effective Communication

- Ability to learn from mistakes
- Good planner and executor. Punctual, disciplined, and giving high importance to timelines and schedules
- Resourceful and Presentable.

- Comprehensive knowledge of rotating equipment in Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals, Power, and Water Industries
- Knowledge and sound command over Saudi Aramco, Sabic, DEP, Royal Commission Standards, Codes and Practices. HCIS Standards and Regulations
- Knowledge and sound command over International Codes and Standards such as ASME, ANSI, API, ATEX, JIS, CSA, NEC, NFPA, FM, UL
- Develop and prepare technical specifications and Data sheets for Pumps (Centrifugal, Reciprocating, Positive Displacement, Screw type and in all ranges…small, medium and large)
- Develop and prepare Technical Specification and Data Sheets for Compressors (Instrument Air, Process Air, Nitrogen, Low Pressure (LP), High Pressure (HP) and Side stream (LP/HP) Gas Compressors, Refrigeration Compressors)
- Good Knowledge and Command over Mechanical Seal systems and their application in line with Industry standards and process requirements
- Sound knowledge of Piping, Civil/Structural, Electrical, instrumentation and Control requirements while specifying and preparing data sheets for rotating equipment
- Knowledge of static equipment such as tanks, spheres, columns, furnaces, reactors, exchangers, and pressure vessels is an advantage
- Actively participated in Safety Studies such as QRA, Envid, Hazid, Hazop and SIL
