Project Manager Construction

• Five (5)+ years of Development & Construction experience required
• Retail experience preferred

• Strategic thinker who can also understand tactical delivery of analysis as needed
• Track record of delivering high-impact results year-over-year
• Excellent written, verbal, listening and presentation skills
• Organizational skills
• Ability to manage all financial aspects of design/construction
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to interface effectively with individuals at all levels
• Ability to operate professionally, effectively and ethically as an individual contributor, member of a team, and leader of a team
• Ability to influence and gain acceptance and approval of ideas, proposals, and solutions
• Solid ability to remain organized, pay strict attention to detail, and meet critical deadlines within a high volume, fast-paced environment
• Excellent leadership skills including ability to prioritize critical needs, and handle a high volume of complex tasks within a given timeframe
• Self-motivated, with the ability to meet and exceed position requirements under minimal direction and supervision
• Highly developed project management skills
• Ability to effectively communicate between the store team, internal team, contractors, and vendors

• →Manages new store AND/OR remodel construction projects
• →Travels to job sites regularly to check progress, overall workmanship, and verifies that project is on schedule
• →Oversees processing of all pay applications, change order requests for information related to the design and construction of projects
• →Reviews paperwork for accuracy, completeness, and supporting documentation
• →Returns inaccurate or incomplete pay applications and change order requests for revision/resubmittal
• →Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of overnight remodels and minor capital projects
• →Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including store directors, to minimize disruption to store operations 
• →Manages communication between vendors, contractors, and Academy
• →Learns and enforces company policies and procedures
• →Learns and enforces company safety rules
• →Duties may change; Team Member may be required to perform other duties as assigned

• Regular attendance required
• Ability to work flexible hours such as evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Travel is required
• Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties
• Adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures and rules governing professional staff behavior
