As a Custom Software Engineer, your day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. Your work is focused on meeting unique business requirements through innovative and adaptable software development practices, contributing to the overall success and performance of the projects you are involved in.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver effective software solutions.
- Maintain and update existing software applications to improve functionality and user experience.
- Document development processes and code changes to ensure clarity and maintainability.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in IBM AS/400 RPG III.
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
- Experience in debugging, testing, and troubleshooting software applications.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Familiarity with database management and integration techniques.
- Capability to analyze and optimize system performance.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in IBM AS/400 RPG III.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
