We are looking for two experienced Windows Administrators to join our Infrastructure Managed Services team.
You will support the day-to-day operation of Windows Server environments, with a focus on Active Directory, Group Policy, SCCM and incident resolution. Working within an established technical team, you will help maintain secure, reliable and high-performing infrastructure services.
This role would suit a hands-on Windows Administrator who enjoys troubleshooting, working collaboratively and developing their skills within a complex enterprise environment.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Perform day-to-day Windows Server administration, including provisioning, patching and monitoring.
- →Manage Active Directory user accounts, computer objects, groups and organisational units.
- →Create, update and troubleshoot Group Policy settings.
- →Administer Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) for patch compliance, software deployment and hardware and software inventory.
- →Resolve Level 2 Windows incidents and service requests within agreed service levels.
- →Assist with server builds, upgrades and decommissioning activities.
- →Support DNS zone management and troubleshooting.
- →Document operational processes and maintain knowledge-base articles.
- →Participate in change management processes and scheduled maintenance activities.
- →Escalate complex technical issues to the Windows Subject Matter Expert or Wintel Lead when required.
- Approximately five to seven years of Windows Server administration experience.
- Proficiency across Windows Server 2012 R2 through to Windows Server 2019.
- Hands-on experience administering Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Working knowledge of SCCM/MECM for patch management and software deployment.
- DNS administration experience, including A records, PTR records and zone transfers.
- Basic PowerShell scripting skills for operational and automation tasks.
- Experience working within an ITIL service management environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical capabilities.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement based in Ballarat.
Nice to Have
~1 min read- VMware vSphere experience or foundational knowledge.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure.
- Experience supporting a large-scale enterprise environment.
