Hours: M-F 5:45 am to 1:45 pm (35 hours)
Salary: $75,000 (LMSW/LMHC/LCSW/LMFT/LCAT)
OVERVIEW OF PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:
We are looking for a Licensed Therapist to support participants in our dual-licensed OMH/OASAS Opioid Treatment Program (OTP). Integrated treatment services are provided by an interdisciplinary team responsible for: comprehensive diagnostic assessments; participant-centered care planning; health assessments and physicals; clinical excellence and evidence-based interventions; individual, family, and group psychotherapy; psychiatric evaluations; medication management; MAT treatment (e.g., Methadone and Suboxone); linkages to additional services and care; peer support; and successful achievement of participant-determined outcomes.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for a caseload of participants living with Opioid use disorder and other co-occurring mental health diagnoses. This includes support around all treatment-related and case management needs.
Provides Individual therapy, family/couples therapy, and group therapy.
Completes timely, accurate, and comprehensive documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to ensure compliance.
Attends and participates in supervision as scheduled with the assigned supervisor.
Attends and participates in all scheduled team meetings and training courses. Provides support to the interdisciplinary team around mental health needs and high-complexity cases.
Escorts participants for reinstatement appointments to Dr. Thomas, providing a brief clinical handoff/summary gathered from the participant's clinician(s) (status, recent concerns, treatment-plan context, and any safety considerations) so that Dr. Thomas has the information needed to make the reinstatement determination.
Performs other duties as needed to ensure the success of the program.

QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES:
LMSW, LCSW, MHC-LP, LMHC, LMFT, or LCAT required. CASAC Prefer
Understanding and experience with OASAS documentation requirements, including intake and assessment, medical necessity, treatment planning and clinical interventions from the start of the treatment through termination.
At least 2-3 years' experience in the Substance use field preferably in Methadone Maintenance; other addictions, complex trauma and psychosocial stressors of poverty, abuse, abandonment, grief/loss, foster care, and criminal justice involvement.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
Working familiarity with EMR's.
Positive attitude and demeanor with an ability to engage individuals of diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and needs.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with regulatory agencies, personnel, community stakeholders, participants /families.
Bilingual Spanish speaking a plus
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Masters in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or Creative Art Therapy.
