With over 60 years of experience in sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing and nearly 1,000 employees, Birgi Mefar Group is the highest-capacity production service center in Turkey and nearby regions. The company provides contract manufacturing services for more than 50 local and global pharmaceutical companies using pre-filled syringe (PFS), lyophilized, vial, ampoule, and BFS technologies.
Operating with a vision of becoming a 'Preferred Contract Manufacturer' for pharmaceutical companies both nationally and internationally, Birgi Mefar Group is looking for a 'Technical Maintenance Manager' to join its team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• Minimum of 11 years of experience in the field, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
• Strong command of English
• Ability to work in production environments and effectively manage processes during uncertainty and crisis periods
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Team-oriented, capable of managing task distribution and training processes of subordinates
Job Description
- Organize and follow up all preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities to ensure optimal operation of all machines and systems in the production line
• Possess technical knowledge and experience to manage periodic maintenance, fault detection, and repair processes of HVAC systems (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning)
• Organize the operation and maintenance of all utility systems, electrical systems, and equipment within the factory, as well as planning building painting and repair works together with the team
• Conduct work and method studies when required and develop improvement suggestions for business processes and systems
• Prepare and manage the maintenance budget
• Coordinate outsourcing activities related to maintenance operations
• Ensure periodic quality evaluation of machinery and equipment within the department and lead continuous improvement activities
• Analyze requests from departments and evaluate whether they can be handled internally or externally
• Plan, execute, and report the activities required to respond to these requests
Candidate Criteria
- Experience: 10–15 years
• Education Level: Bachelor's Degree (Graduate), Master's Degree (Student/Graduate), PhD (Student/Graduate)
• Foreign Language: English (Reading: Advanced, Writing: Advanced, Speaking: Advanced)
• Driving License: Class B
