JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Cardiology Job Type: Locum-to-Perm Location: Brattleboro, VT Service Setting: Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Oct 01, 2026 – Ongoing Shift Schedule: 3-5 days per week, Days Reason for Coverage: MD retirement Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults Average Daily Volume: 16 Case Mix: General Cardiology FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Department: 61 Trauma Level: Level IV EMR System: Cerner PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Credentialing Timeline: 2 months (can be expedited) REQUIRED PROCEDURES Echocardiography Electrocardiograms (EKGs) JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology Licenses: Active Vermont License or willingness to obtain DEA: Active DEA Certification Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), CPR Duties & Responsibilities Provide outpatient noninvasive cardiology care. Perform and interpret echocardiograms and EKGs. Collaborate with APRNs in patient management. Ensure continuity of care for cardiology patients. Maintain comprehensive medical records in Cerner.
