JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: H-MD-119262 Profession: Physician Specialty: Diagnostic Radiology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Florence, South Carolina Coverage Period: Jan 19, 2026 – Ongoing Shift Schedule: Days, 7a – 4p Reason for Coverage: Backfill FTE Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Case Mix: General diagnostic radiology and light interventional radiology (LIR) PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes REQUIRED PROCEDURES General diagnostic radiology interpretation Light interventional radiology (LIR) procedures JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC/BE in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR) Licenses: Active South Carolina medical license required; non-licensed candidates must have FCVS for verifications Experience: Experience in light interventional radiology (LIR) required Other Qualifications: Must provide dosimetry badge on first day (agency-provided, reimbursed up to $200) DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide diagnostic radiology interpretations for the MUSC Health Florence Medical Center and network locations. Perform light interventional radiology (LIR) procedures as needed. Read studies from multiple sites including Black River and Marion General. Work Monday to Friday day shifts (7a-4p or 8a-5p) and occasional weekend day shifts. Cross-credential across all locations within the network to ensure coverage.
