JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Certified in Surgery of the Hand Licenses: Active CO License or Universal License (IMLC) with Letter of Qualification DEA: Active DEA (required for credentialing) Certifications: Board Certified, DEA Experience: Hand Surgery Fellowship required Other Qualifications: Clean malpractice/background; local/drive-in candidates preferred; must acknowledge EMR training requirements Duties & Responsibilities Provide 24-hour call coverage for hand surgery emergencies (7a-7a). Cover emergency department and transfer center calls for hand injuries. Manage acute hand injuries and conditions. Communicate with referring physicians and coordinate care. Document patient encounters and procedures in EPIC EMR.
