JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: Y-PA-3493902 Profession: Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner Specialty: Infectious Disease Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Greensboro, NC Service Setting: Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Dec 14, 2026 – Dec 13, 2027 Clinical Shift Schedule: Mon – Thu (8-hour shifts), Fri (half day) Shift Time: 7:00 - 15:00 PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adult Patient Volume/Census: 12-15 patients per day Case Mix: Infectious Disease (HIV) FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Specialty Backup Available: Physician PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Credentialing Timeline: 60-90 days JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active NC PA license (Board Certified within 1 year) Board: BC/BE in Physician Assistant (NCCPA) – must obtain within 1 year DEA: Yes Certifications: BLS (CPR) – American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider Experience: Minimum 3 years in Infectious Disease or relevant experience DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Perform in-office physical assessments and review medical history. Interpret diagnostic tests and results to provide effective treatment. Conduct preventive health screenings based on patient age and needs. Educate patients and families about specialty care conditions, treatment, and follow-up. Maintain accurate patient records and perform office-based specialty care medical procedures.
