JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Nurse Practitioner – Electrophysiology • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Mayfield Heights, OH • Service Setting: Outpatient Cardiology / Electrophysiology Clinic • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Coverage Period: 11/30/2026 – 03/21/2027 • Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, either 8a – 4p (5 shifts/week) or 7a – 5p (4 shifts/week) PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Census: 12–16 patients per shift, depending on hours • Rounding: Not specified • Phone Consults: Inbox and message management included; RN support available for messages • Case Mix: Acute established patients, regular established follow-ups, and hospital follow-ups; 30-minute visits FACILITY INFORMATION • EMR System: Epic • Specialty Backup Available: Multiple physicians and APPs in office • Support Staff Available: Dedicated MA/LPN/RN; RN support with messages PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Credentialing Timeline: 60 days COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Rate: TBD • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES • No procedures required or preferred JOB REQUIREMENTS • Licenses: Compact or Ohio license required • Certifications: CNP, PA, or CNS accepted • Other Qualifications: Local candidates only for telemedicine services DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide outpatient Electrophysiology cliniccare. • Evaluate acute established patients, regular established follow-ups, and hospital follow-ups during 30-minute visits. • Manage the clinic inbox and patient messages with RN support. • Collaborate with multiple physicians, APPs, and dedicated MA/LPN/RN support staff. • Work scheduled Monday–Friday clinic shifts with no call responsibility.
