Occupational Therapist

Adelphi is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide services at a facility in Beaumont, Virginia. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care under established treatment plans, including therapeutic interventions, functional assessments, and ongoing monitoring of patient progress. Job Quick Facts: • Ref#: BD-353-96 • Profession: Allied Health • Specialty: Occupational Therapist • Location: Beaumont, VA • Service Setting: Correctional Facility • Job Type: Contract • Start Date: ASAP • Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday, Part-Time, up to 32 hours/week • Rate: $47-60/hr Requirements: • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program • Active Virginia license • CPR Certification Responsibilities: • Provide occupational therapy services consistent with the scope of licensure and facility policies. • Perform patient evaluations and develop appropriate treatment plans under established guidelines. • Provide direct patient care and therapeutic interventions to improve functional abilities. • Implement therapeutic exercises and activities to address patient-specific needs. • Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment. • Maintain accurate documentation for all patients receiving occupational therapy services. • Complete evaluations, progress notes, reports, and other required documentation. • Attend and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings. • Complete all assigned tasks within established facility timelines. • Comply with all state requirements and facility policies and procedures. • Perform additional duties as assigned by the facility.
