PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adolescents Patient Volume/Census: 6–12 patients per day Case Mix: Adolescent Psychiatry FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Department: 12 EMR System: Epic Specialty Backup Available: Multidisciplinary team PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Credentialing Timeline: 60–90 days REQUIRED PROCEDURES Psychiatric medication management Admission evaluations and orders Individualized treatment planning Multidisciplinary team leadership JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or BC in General Psychiatry with CAP fellowship DEA: CA DEA with Schedule 2/2n Certifications: BLS (AHA) DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide clinical care to adolescent psychiatric patients, including rounding and on-site consultations. Perform admission evaluations and place appropriate orders for new patients. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary team. Manage psychiatric medications and perform psychopharmacological interventions. Provide on-call coverage during nights and weekends, including after-hours admission and patient management.
