Emergency Department Physician (Ref#009)

POSITION OVERVIEW

Our client is looking for a highly skilled, detail-oriented professional passionate about providing acute care in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. The ideal candidate will excel in diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, using their analytical mindset to interpret patient histories, test results, and examinations accurately. Adaptable and resilient, they thrive in the dynamic atmosphere of an emergency room, managing multiple tasks simultaneously and responding effectively to a variety of patient needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES 

• Patient Assessment: Assess patients' conditions to determine the severity of their medical issues.
• Medical Records: Collect, record, and maintain patient information, including medical histories and test results.
• Treatment & Diagnosis: Provide care to ensure proper injury treatment, disease diagnosis, and patient recovery.
• Tests & Referrals: Request tests, schedule follow-up visits, and refer patients to specialists as needed.
• Prescriptions & Therapy: Prescribe or administer medication, therapy, and specialized care to treat or prevent illness.
• Analysis & Diagnosis: Analyze medical records, reports, and test results to diagnose patient conditions.
• Patient Communication: Explain medical procedures, discuss test results, and review prescribed treatments with patients.
• Patient Monitoring: Continuously monitor and reevaluate patients' conditions and treatment plans.
• Health Advice: Advise patients on diet, hygiene, activity, and disease prevention.
• Team Management: Coordinate and direct activities of medical staff, including nurses, assistants, and specialists.
• Collaboration: Provide consultation services to other physicians.

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS

• A Bachelor's and Medical School Diploma with at least 3 years of hospital-based experience
• Physician licensure and completion of an Emergency Medicine residency program.
• ACLS certification, ATLS Certification, BLS certification preferred
• Proficiency in both Vietnamese and English
