This includes producing social media cards, vertical video, short-form explainers and other platform-native content that complements and elevates our coverage.

We’re looking for someone with a strong sense of visual storytelling and experience using design tools to create eye-catching graphics and videos.

The right candidate will be proactive, creative and tuned into social trends, with the ability to move quickly on breaking news, game-day moments and all things Steelers.

Responsibilities include collaborating with reporters and editors, identifying content opportunities, optimizing posts for each platform and tracking performance to inform future strategy.

The pay rate for this position is $25.00 per hour.  This is a part-time, temporary position for up to six months.

  • Deep interest in local news and knowledge of content trends
  • Working knowledge of analytics reporting suites for websites and social media
  • Ability to work independently, including remotely, and to prioritize tasks
