• Process customer transactions swiftly and accurately using the cash register and point-of-sale systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked checkout area in compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Support daily café and kitchen operations by assisting with restocking supplies, food preparation, patient meal production, dishwashing, meal delivery, and other tasks as assigned to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and resolving concerns professionally.
• Handle cash, credit, and electronic payments securely while issuing receipts and maintaining accurate records.

• General knowledge of modified diets and ability to read and follow a diet spreadsheet.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Possess necessary skills to effectively operate a cash register or cash-handling computer system.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety regulations.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

• High School Grad or Equiv [Preferred]

• 2+ of experience in healthcare setting [Preferred]
• Previous experience in cashiering [Preferred]

• Food Handler Certificate (FHC) [Preferred]
