• Provide comprehensive care for patients with gastrointestinal disorders and diseases.
• Conduct patient assessments, obtain medical histories, perform physical examinations, and develop treatment plans.
• Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests, laboratory studies, and imaging results.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently within the electronic medical record.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support AdventHealth's mission of extending the healing ministry of Christ through whole-person care

• Abilities in the use of specialized equipment used in respective area of practice [Required]
• Strong interpersonal skills, excellent conflict resolution, and communication skills [Required]

• Excellent organization skills [Required]
• Skilled in providing age-appropriate education regarding care management interventions and illness adjustment issues [Required]

Education:

• Master's of Physician Assistant [Required]

Field of Study:

Physician Assistant

Work Experience:

1+ year of related work experience [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Physician Assistant License from an accredited program [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
