Clinical Ladder participation is voluntary. Salary adjustments are determined by program eligibility, advancement level, and organizational guidelines.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans across physical, emotional, and social factors
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care, including medications and treatments in alignment with physician orders and protocols
- Monitor patient conditions, evaluate outcomes, and adjust care plans as needed
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care for better health outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate effective patient care
- Document patient care, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered support and therapeutic communication
- Delegate and supervise care activities to support team efficiency and quality outcomes
- Respond promptly and effectively in urgent or emergency situations
- Participate in ongoing professional development and performance improvement initiatives
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of nursing care methods and clinical procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- EKG competency (based on patient population; see requirements documentation)
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, and verbal communication)
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft-based programs
- Ability to apply critical thinking and clinical judgment to assess patients and adjust care plans
- Associate's of Nursing [Required]
- Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
- 1+ acute care hospital setting [Preferred]
- Opportunities available across Emergency Department, Med Surg, LDRP, PCU, ICU, Surgery, and Care Management
- Day and Night Shifts Available
- Additional licensure or certification requirements may apply depending on unit or state
- Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
