What We Offer
~1 min read- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate health status, identify needs, and establish priorities of care.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans based on patient assessments and medical diagnoses.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
- Monitor patient responses to interventions and modify care plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Document assessments, interventions, care plans, and patient outcomes accurately and timely within the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives designed to enhance patient care, safety, and clinical outcomes.
- Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to promote high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection prevention practices and safety protocols.
- Respond effectively to emergency and life-threatening situations utilizing established protocols and critical care skills.

- Demonstrated clinical skills required to practice in a critical care environment.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and clinical decision-making abilities.
- Ability to assess patients, evaluate interventions, and revise care plans based on patient outcomes.
- Knowledge of nursing care methods, procedures, and evidence-based practices.
- Ability to provide leadership, direction, and support while managing complex clinical situations.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) documentation and computer applications, including Microsoft Windows-based programs.
- Ability to accurately interpret EKG rhythms as required by the patient population.
- Strong multitasking abilities with a professional and compassionate bedside manner.
- Knowledge of patient care principles, health promotion, and disease prevention.
- Maintains confidentiality and exercises mature judgment when handling sensitive information.
- Demonstrates emotional stability, professionalism, compassion, integrity, respect, and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license. (required)

- Fundamentals of Critical Care Support (FCCS)
- Basic EKG Certification (BEKG)
- Acute/Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist (CCNS)
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program – Advanced (NRP-A)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Instructor (PALS Instructor)
- S.T.A.B.L.E. Certification
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
