Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate health status, identify needs, and establish priorities of care.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans based on patient assessments and medical diagnoses.
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
Monitor patient responses to interventions and modify care plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
Educate patients and families regarding health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
Document assessments, interventions, care plans, and patient outcomes accurately and timely within the electronic medical record (EMR).
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives designed to enhance patient care, safety, and clinical outcomes.
Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to promote high-quality, patient-centered care.
Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection prevention practices and safety protocols.
Respond effectively to emergency and life-threatening situations utilizing established protocols and critical care skills.

Demonstrated clinical skills required to practice in a critical care environment.
Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and clinical decision-making abilities.
Ability to assess patients, evaluate interventions, and revise care plans based on patient outcomes.
Knowledge of nursing care methods, procedures, and evidence-based practices.
Ability to provide leadership, direction, and support while managing complex clinical situations.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) documentation and computer applications, including Microsoft Windows-based programs.
Ability to accurately interpret EKG rhythms as required by the patient population.
Strong multitasking abilities with a professional and compassionate bedside manner.
Knowledge of patient care principles, health promotion, and disease prevention.
Maintains confidentiality and exercises mature judgment when handling sensitive information.
Demonstrates emotional stability, professionalism, compassion, integrity, respect, and a patient-centered approach to care.

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Experience in a specialty area(s) [Preferred]
