The Registered Nurse RN ICU is responsible for delivering coordinated nursing care to patients within a patient care unit. This position collaborates with physicians, multidisciplinary team members, patients, and families to provide comprehensive physical and psychological support. Additionally, this role supervises and directs the activities of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel, ensuring compliance with state, facility, and regulatory guidelines. This position utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to maintain and improve patient outcomes. Responsibilities for this role include ensuring the delivery of competent, compassionate, and cost-effective nursing care while contributing to the overall effectiveness of the healthcare team.

• →The Registered Nurse RN ICU conducts comprehensive patient assessments, monitor patient conditions, and prioritize care needs based on physical, psychosocial, and clinical findings.
• →Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• →Administer medications, IV therapy, treatments, and nursing procedures safely and accurately while adhering to established clinical policies and standards.
• →Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions, treatments, discharge planning, and self-care practices to support recovery and ongoing wellness.
• →Document patient assessments, interventions, treatments, and responses accurately and timely to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• →Collaborate and communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care and promote positive outcomes.
• →Advocate for patient safety, rights, and quality care by maintaining a safe environment and participating in quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives.

• Associate's of Nursing Required
• Bachelor's of Nursing Preferred

• 1+ years prior hospital/acute care Registered Nursing experience Preferred
• Registered Nurse experience Required

• Registered Nurse License (RN) Required
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS) Required
• National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS) Preferred
