• →Evaluates and treats patients in-office with acute, chronic complaints and health maintenance concerns which include the following:
• →Assessment of patient health status through physical exam, reviewing patient history, diagnostic tests and procedures and reviewing labs and other critical data.
• →Diagnosis of acute and chronic conditions
• →Initiating orders for medications, laboratory and other diagnostic testing
• →Prescribing interventions and performing therapeutic measures to ensure the appropriate individualized plan of care is implemented.
• →Implementing changes in drug treatment therapy as ordered by the physician(s) and/or healthcare providers
• →Assists in surgery as needed (namely as a surgical assist back-up)
• →Call responsibilities determined by program-specific needs
• →Coordinating information flow among medical, ancillary, nursing, financial and insurance personnel Assisting with discharge planning in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary healthcare

• 3+ years of experience as an APP
• If Nurse Practitioner - must have successfully completed undergraduate and Master's level-nursing programs, passed state boards, and achieved ARNP status.
• If Physician Assistant - must hold a baccalaureate degree, or a minimum of two years of college credits, and have graduated from a physician assistant program approved by the
• Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA)
•  Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills
•  Sound clinical judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to be accountable and committed to quality and safety
• Effective time-management skills in a high-stress environment
• Ability to maintain effective relationships while remaining flexibility to work with patients, families and all members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team
•  Ability to work well without supervision
• Initiative to keep abreast of new information/products/developments in assigned specialty Computer skills and ability to work effectively across multiple electronic medical records (EM Rs)
•  Current BLS and ACLS certification
•  Current, valid State of Colorado license or ability to obtain one
