Responsibilities

→Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech and language disorders in clients.
→Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address speech and language needs.
→Provide individualized therapy sessions to improve communication skills and swallowing abilities.
→Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as occupational therapists and nurses, to provide holistic care for clients.
→Monitor and document progress and outcomes of therapy sessions.
→Educate clients and their families on strategies to enhance communication and maintain progress.
→Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of speech and language pathology and implement evidence-based practices in therapy sessions.

→Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
→Current license in Michigan as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
→Minimum of 1 year of experience in a home health care setting is preferred.
→Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and their treatment methods.
→Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
→Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
→Proficient in conducting assessments and developing customized treatment plans.
→Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations related to speech therapy.
