Project Engineer

We are currently seeking a Project Engineer to support construction management services for our valued client's data center project. This position will work with a team of professionals, including the client's senior project manager, other construction professionals, and project stakeholders, to oversee and deliver this hyper-scale data center project. This role is a significant project team position with many growth opportunities.  

• →Oversee design development and project budget and cost.
• →Verify and approve vendor payables, track vendor quantities through timesheets, and physical accounting.
• →Assist in reviewing monthly contractor billing estimates for the owner.
• →Lead regularly occurring project team meetings on behalf of the owner.
• →Review, analyze, and evaluate contractor updates on behalf of the owner.
• →Oversee both the cost report and the monthly billing.
• →Manage extra work billings and claims under the supervision of the Project Manager.
• →Manage the design change implementation and change management process.
• →Manage the submittal and RFI process on behalf of the owner's team.
• →Ensure a safe project site and work environment.

• Three to five years of experience in construction management or a related field.
• Preference for experience in mission-critical, industrial, and process-heavy facilities.

• Ability to prepare and communicate cost and revenue projections.
• Knowledge of the permitting process and ability to drive the process to meet project timelines.
• Utilize effective written and oral communication skills.
