Machinist

• Machine parts from prints and models
• Verify dimensions, alignments and clearances of tools, dies, fixtures and gauges using measuring instruments
• Set-up and operate machining equipment such as lathes, EDM, milling machines, grinders, drill presses and saws
• Fit and assemble parts to make, repair or modify required tooling
• Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.
• Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Formal training is a plus
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, sketches or computer-aided drafting (CAD) files
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 to 10 hours per day
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 70 pounds
