Responsibilities

  • 1st Shift Welder: 4:45 am - 3:15 pm
  • Weld materials are primarily aluminum
  • Typical operations include welding aluminum tubing to pads using turntable, back plates and knobs to brackets, hooks to square tubing, pads to extrusions, etc…
  • Weld operator is responsible for all equipment set ups and to perform a proper weld on each part / component.
  • Responsible to complete each discrete jobs by verifying proper material from staged area before welding.
  • Follow weld instructions/requirements from discrete job, access drawings from computer system to verify special requirements.
  • Move/deliver product to next operation.
  • Communication – possess strong written and verbal skills
  • Attitude – maintains positive outlook and response under pressure.
  • Problem Solving – ability to diagnose and recommend solutions to resolve issues
  • Detailed – able to keep detailed and accurate records
  • Meet production standards for output / efficiency

    Requirements

    ~1 min read
    • High school diploma/GED preferred
    • Minimum of two years MIG welding experience required
    • Welder certification is a plus
