B2C Luxury Travel Consultant - Botswana Specialist (Fully Remote)

African Safari Group (ASG) is a leading luxury travel company specialising in bespoke African safari experiences. We create highly personalised journeys for international travellers who value exceptional service, expert destination knowledge and unforgettable experiences.

As ASG continues to grow, we are looking for a passionate and experienced B2C Luxury Travel Consultant – Botswana Specialist to join our team.

Please note: This is specifically a Botswana Specialist position. Professional Botswana safari experience is an essential requirement for this role.

As a Botswana Specialist, you will work directly with international clients from their initial enquiry through to booking and post-trip follow-up. You will use your specialist knowledge of Botswana to understand each client's needs and design tailor-made luxury safari experiences that are both commercially successful and genuinely suited to the client.

This is a sales-focused, direct-to-client role. You will consult with clients, design itineraries, prepare quotations, handle objections, upsell where appropriate and close high-value bookings.

Your Botswana knowledge should allow you to confidently advise clients on the country's different safari regions, lodges, camps, wildlife experiences, seasons and logistics.

• →Consult directly with clients to understand their travel requirements, preferences, expectations and budget.
• →Design and sell tailor-made luxury Botswana safari itineraries.
• →Provide expert advice on Botswana's safari regions, lodges, camps, wildlife and experiences.
• →Prepare and present detailed itineraries and quotations.
• →Manage the complete client journey from initial enquiry through to confirmed booking and post-trip follow-up.
• →Build strong, long-term relationships with international clients.
• →Confidently handle client questions, objections and changes throughout the sales process.
• →Identify opportunities to upsell and enhance client itineraries.
• →Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Botswana's safari offering, properties and experiences.
• →Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless experience from sale through to travel.
• →Maintain accurate client and sales information within the CRM.
• →Contribute to a high-performance sales environment while maintaining ASG's high standards of client service.

This position is fully remote, including training and onboarding, and you will be part of a growing international team of luxury travel professionals.

• Minimum 1 year's proven experience in direct B2C sales to clients.
• Professional Botswana safari or Botswana-focused luxury travel experience is essential.
• Strong, practical knowledge of Botswana as a safari destination.
• Experience selling or consulting on luxury safari or African travel.
• Proven ability to consult, upsell and close high-value bookings.
• Strong understanding of Botswana's key safari regions, properties, wildlife experiences and logistics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong client relationship-building and sales skills.
• Experience using CRM systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while collaborating effectively with a wider team.
• A genuine passion for safari, wildlife and African travel.
