Enterprise Architect (MBSE)

 

 

The DON BEA Enterprise Architect supports development, validation, and compliance of Department of the Navy (DON) Business Enterprise Architecture. This role develops required DON BEA architecture artifacts, validates system alignment to capabilities and operational activities, and ensures accurate modeling of interfaces and data exchanges. The architect applies MBSE practices and may optionally use ARIS to create authoritative, defensible models that guide Navy enterprise decision making.

 

Typically has a Bachelor's or masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, and 5+ years of experience, or equivalent relevant work experience; e.g., each year of work experience may be substituted for each year of education required.

5+ years

Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (DON BEA, DoDAF, or similar).

Demonstrated ability to create architecture views including OV 5a, CV 2, CV 6, CV 7, SV 1, SV 5b, EV 7, DIV 1, and related products.

Experience validating system enablement of capabilities, operational activities, interfaces, and data exchanges.

Strong analytical skills for mapping system functionality, behaviors, processes, and data flows.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.
