As a Remote Support Engineer, you will be providing technical support to our external customers (through phone, email, chat or social media) utilizing your remote diagnostic capabilities. Focusing on our chromatography (GC, GCMS, LC, LCMS, and others), your goal will be to reduce customer downtime and identify repair strategies. To be successful in this role, you must be very customer-focused, confident, flexible and willing to go the extra mile for our customers. We will make sure you get all the training and development opportunities you need to become the best in your field.
Responsibilities

• Ensure customer satisfaction by guiding, assisting and training users on maintenance and configurations
• Remote trouble shooting on hardware and software
• Providing problem resolution to optimize the efficiency and uptime availability of customer systems
This is a hybrid position where you will be based in our offices in Milan (Cernusco sul Naviglio), and you will partially work from home (2 days a week).
Requirements

• University Degree in Chemistry or Life Sciences based discipline
• Hands-on experience (internship, apprenticeship, university projects or first postgraduate experience…) with chromatography and analytical techniques such as GC, GCMS, LC, LCMS.
• Full proficiency in English and Italian
On a personal level, you are autonomous, outgoing and customer oriented. You enjoy working both autonomously and as part of a team. You have great communications and interpersonal skills to interact with many internal and external partners. You show a real can-do attitude and you like helping others and solving problems. Whilst being flexible and adaptable, you have also strong planning and organizational skills.

35.840,00 - 44.800,00 - 56.000,00 EUR per annum
