Primary responsibilities will include:

• Engage with existing and prospective users to understand and document their information needs, predicated on an understanding of both business processes and the business decisions that users need to make

• Provide Analyst support to new and on-going BI projects to enable them to meet their deadlines

• Work with IT colleagues to understand and document available data sources and their interrelation

• Collaborate with other team members to design solutions

• Collaborate with other team members to develop strong reconciliation and control processes

• Work with quality assurance to ensure that business requirements are met

• Experience of fulfilling a BI Analyst role in the full life-cycle of a DW/BI project

• Demonstrable understanding of the collateral factors that lead to success in DW/BI projects, including user engagement, prototyping, MDM, data quality and educational approach

• Experience using Power BI with an understanding of visualisation and reporting

• Excellent problem solving skills

• Excellent collaboration skills to manage problem resolutions effectively

• Can effectively communicate business and technical information across the organisation, being sensitive to the needs of different audiences

• Able to drive a structured and systematic path to resolution

• Able to work independently at the same time as professionally representing the team
