US Benefits Overview. The base salary for this position in Ontario is CAD $88,000-$133,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.

The Global Property CUO team focuses on:
- Global Property Strategy, Risk Appetite, Authority Framework, Guidelines.
- Portfolio Steering for Global Commercial Property
- Aggregation Risk (CAT, Terrorism, SRCC, 4 Wall. CBI etc.) monitoring and strategy
- Developing tools to continually improve the Underwriting Experience.
- Identifying, processing, and delivering data that improves decision making at the portfolio level and in the field.
- Monitoring and developing Underwriting guidelines in collaboration with Global CUO Property
- Responsible for updating and managing the global Property SharePoint side
- SME for SCUP initiative
- Working closely with Policy Wording Specialists on form needs and new endorsements.
- Developing, and support in developing and reviewing CUO driven global and regional tools (including SCUP, GLMS, Cat reporting for UW) in collaboration with the relevant departments
- Representation of the Property CUO in projects, including SCUP, data and digital initiatives and additional priorities identified moving forward.
- Collaborate with senior members in Operations to bring an Underwriter’s perspective to the development of our systems and tools, with the ultimate focus on user functionality.
- Ownership of quarterly Property Facility bordereaux within CUO
- Manage, collaborate and engage in various global Property specific projects across divisions.
- Manage, maintain and update certain underwriting tools, as well as a connection with the field to escalate field tool needs.
- In collaboration with CUO, manage and drive the data insight partnering in the team including analyzing internal & external data (i.e. scorecards)
- Working knowledge how to build and understand strategies
- Working knowledge of VBA to develop tools and offer relevant instruction to programming teams
- Experience working across multiple countries and cultures
- Experience in collaborating and working across different senior level
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Can demonstrate a background in developing and maintaining a broad network of contacts within a global insurance organization
