AIP Publishing helps brilliant work make a global impact. We’re building a living network of knowledge to spark thinking, connect people, and drive new ways forward — empowering a vibrant global community using science for good. We foster a collaborative, creative atmosphere and encourage a workplace culture that maximizes individual contributions.

We’re always looking to evolve the ways we think and operate, and we actively encourage an environment where everybody feels comfortable, seen, and able to do their best work. We’re looking to hire and develop colleagues who are astute, flexible, and always striving to “solve better problems” through thoughtful consideration of individual, team, organizational, and customer impact.

The Data Product Manager reporting to the Director, Data & Analytics, is a strategic thinker, data storyteller, and cross-functional collaborator responsible for shaping and delivering enterprise data solutions that drive measurable business impact. You’ll serve as a connector across technology, analytics, and business teams — turning data needs into coordinated action through structured roadmapping, sprint participation, and communication. This newly created role will establish and lead the expansion of data solutions, services, and capabilities that power data-driven decision-making across the organization.

If you’re excited by the opportunity to define how data fuels strategy, innovation, and growth — and you thrive in a collaborative, mission-driven environment — we invite you to join our team.

Data Capabilities Strategy & Vision

  • Define and drive the roadmap for data solutions that enable business stakeholders to achieve measurable outcomes.

Stakeholder Engagement & Demand Management

  • Collaborate across business and technical teams to define priorities and success metrics.
  • Maintain a central repository of data requests, ensure alignment on priorities, and communicate progress clearly.
  • Manage demand across competing stakeholders, balancing strategic impact with resource availability.

Execution & Delivery

  • Oversee design, program development, and rollout of data and analytic capabilities in collaboration with engineering, analytics, and vendor teams.
  • Coordinate delivery across cross-functional contributors, ensuring timely, high-quality releases.
  • Implement incremental delivery models, measuring and communicating value created at each stage.

Continuous Improvement & Value Realization

  • Analyze adoption and outcomes of released solutions.
  • Collect user feedback, track usage, and refine features for continuous improvement.
  • Establish frameworks for measuring business impact.

Data Governance & Compliance

  • Strong understanding of data management, reporting, analytics, and product design principles.
  • Project management skills, including structuring initiatives, managing timelines and resources, and clearly communicating progress and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in SQL or equivalent query languages.
  • A minimum of 6 years’ experience in product management, data strategy, or analytics leadership, with at least 3 successful end-to-end data product or system deliveries.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex stakeholder landscapes.
  • Background in publishing, media, or event-driven businesses preferred.
  • Experience with customer data platforms or similar enterprise-scale data systems preferred.
