RTR REPORTING ANALYST
Quick Summary
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Provide a complete record of financial transactions over the life of a given financial scope.
INCLUDE : General Ledger / Tax / Fixed Asset / Cash accounting
- Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources.
- Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain data models and databases.
Report Development:
- Design and create reports and dashboards using reporting tools such as Power BI.
- Customize reports to meet the needs of different stakeholders.
- Automate report generation processes where possible.
Data Visualization:
- Present data in a clear and visually appealing manner using charts, graphs, and other data visualization techniques.
- Interpret and communicate insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Report Maintenance:
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency in all reports.
- Keep reports up to date with the latest data.
- Address any issues or errors promptly.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with departments across the organization to understand their reporting needs.
- Collaborate with IT teams to improve data infrastructure and data quality.
Welcomed Qualifications and Competencies
Bachelor degree in Accounting or equivalent practical experience.
Accounting work experience, typically demonstrated through 3+ years of background.
Intermediate level computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Access) / Excellent analytical and creative problem solving skills with the ability to understand metrics and to present and communicate to all levels of the organization and external customers. Thorough understanding of general accounting matters and GAAP.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting software.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Results oriented, self-starter with the ability to manage conflicting priorities under tight deadlines
Overtime is required during month end close and occasionally at other times, possibly with little advance notice
