At Air Products, we are looking for a Maintenance Engineer Instrumentation to ensure the reliability, availability, and safety of critical instrumentation and analytical systems across our Rotterdam facilities. In this role, you will collaborate closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to optimize plant performance and drive continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
Lead and support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for instrumentation and analytical systems.
Diagnose equipment failures, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and implement sustainable solutions to improve plant reliability.
Identify recurring equipment issues and drive reliability improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).
Develop maintenance scopes, support budgeting activities, and help prioritize maintenance work based on business and operational risks.
Provide instrumentation expertise during plant modification projects, equipment upgrades, and commissioning activities.
Ensure maintenance activities comply with Air Products' safety standards, industry regulations, and Management of Change (eMOC) requirements.
Maintain accurate equipment records and technical documentation in SAP to support effective maintenance planning and asset management.
Act as a technical advisor to operations, maintenance technicians, and project teams.
Degree in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related technical discipline.
Experience with industrial instrumentation, control systems, and maintenance engineering within a process industry environment.
Knowledge of reliability improvement methodologies such as RCA, RCM, FMECA, or RBI.
Experience with SAP or other computerized maintenance management systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
A proactive mindset with a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.
