📍 Location: Primarily Wroclaw (Poland), also acceptable Siewierz or Warsaw, Wrocław (Poland) or Prague (Czech Republic)

📄 Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract (following a 3-month probation period) with the opportunity to become permanent

⏰ Working Hours: 40 hours per week

🌍 Scope: Poland, Czechia, Slovakia & Hungary

✈️ Travel: Occasional travel to supplier and Air Products sites

We are looking for an experienced MRO Sourcing Specialist to join our Central Europe Procurement team. In this role, you will design and execute sourcing strategies for maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) materials and services, ensuring the business has reliable supply, competitive commercial terms, and strong supplier partnerships. You will work closely with stakeholders across Central Europe and contribute directly to operational excellence, cost optimisation, supplier performance, and procurement transformation initiatives.

You will become part of an international Procurement team supporting Air Products operations across the region and managing strategic spend with significant business impact.

As our MRO Sourcing Specialist, you will:

• →Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives and operational needs.
• →Lead sourcing events including RFQs, RFPs, supplier evaluations, and market analysis.
• →Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive supplier performance improvements. Partner with Operations and Maintenance teams as a trusted procurement advisor and key point of contact.
• →Analyse market trends, benchmarking data, supplier risks, and commercial opportunities to maximise value. Lead initiatives to reduce supply risk, improve procurement processes, and support business productivity objectives.
• →Manage commercial aspects of supplier agreements and support resolution of supplier performance or contractual issues.
• →Ensure compliance with Air Products procurement policies, procedures, and contractual standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience developing and leading sourcing strategies in an industrial, manufacturing, engineering, utilities, chemical, energy, public sector, or similar environment.
• Strong sourcing, negotiation, supplier management, and commercial skills.
• Experience managing competitive bidding processes and market analysis activities. Proven stakeholder management skills and confidence in influencing internal and external partners.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
• Fluent English and Polish language skills.
• Valid driving licence.

• Czech language skills.
• SAP ERP experience. Experience supporting operations, maintenance, industrial services, engineering projects, MRO categories, or technical procurement activities.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives or organisational improvement projects.
