About the Role
~1 min readWe are seeking an experienced and qualified Lifting Specialist (Appointed Person) to join our Offshore Logistics team. In this role, you will hold overall control of offshore lifting operations, leading crane operators, riggers, and banksmen across critical operations on offshore platforms, rigs, barges, and vessels.
- Key Responsibilities
Hold overall control of all offshore lifting operations within designated areas.
Prepare and review detailed Lifting Plans for critical lifting activities (note: single-point authority will review/approve final plans).
Supervise and execute critical lifting procedures in compliance with oil & gas standards.
Lead a team of Crane Operators, Riggers, and Banksmen to ensure safe lifting practices.
Enforce HSE priorities and implement international lifting engineering standards across offshore locations.
Manage change and apply excellence in change management for lifting operations.
