Devops Team Leader

The Lead DevOps Engineer is responsible for the development and implementation of DevOps processes and tools to boost operational efficiency. Collaborating with development teams to design and automate build, deployment, and testing processes, while providing technical guidance on best practices is a crucial part. The Lead manages system migrations and upgrades, integrates various systems to enhance scalability, and ensures the availability and high performance of applications across different platforms. - Lead the Development and Implementation of DevOps Processes and Tools to enhance operational efficiency - Collaborate with development teams to design and implement automated build, deployment, and testing processes. - Provide technical guidance and support to development teams on DevOps best practices to improve their outcomes. - Maintain DevOps infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking ensuring the reliability and performance of it. -Designing & implementing processes and tools to enable continuous integration and continuous delivery, maximizing the speed and quality of delivery across teams. - Automating build, release, deployment, and configuration activities aiming to increase efficiency and reduce errors. - Working closely with software engineers, QA, and systems engineers to understand requirements and prototype, architect, implement, operate, and update DevOps solutions accordingly. - Full responsibility of migration and upgrading to new releases to ensure smooth transitions and continued functionality. - System integration and implementation of Kubernetes, open shift, CI/CD and Docker to enhance system operations and scalability. - Maintaining the availability of the applications and their hosted servers (on both LINUX, and Windows platforms) to ensure high performance of applications and their servers. - Consulting with Vendor as appropriate to obtain necessary support and resources for DevOps solutions. crm.templates.job.description.requirements 6 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer Kubernetes OpenShift CI/CD tools (Jenkins, etc.…) Infra as a code (IaC) Docker ELK Jira and GitHub Micro services architecture SonarQube Linux administration Knowledge Technical knowledge in IT infrastructure technologies (DNS, Proxy) and connectivity techniques Scripting languages such as Python, bash, Groovy, JavaScript Software development skills are a plus.
