The Finance IT Systems team is responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing operation of enterprise finance platforms, billing systems, and related business applications.
We are seeking a Senior Finance Systems Engineer to serve as a core member of the Finance IT Systems team. This role will own functional design, development, integration, and support operations across billing and ERP platforms, ensuring reliable, auditable, and scalable financial processes.
Responsibilities

- →Own functional design and system configuration across BillingPlatform, ERP systems, and upstream systems
- →Act as the primary integration coordinator across systems including BillingPlatform, ERP, and other upstream and downstream platforms
- →Design, develop, support, and validate integrations, including APIs, webhooks, and middleware-based data flows
- →Define and maintain data mappings across customers, subscriptions, invoices, and payments to ensure consistency and traceability
- →Support ERP implementation by participating in design workshops, validating configurations, migrating data, and ensuring integration dependencies are addressed
- →Own change management and release governance, including coordinating deployments, validating changes, and ensuring proper approvals and documentation
- →Lead production support model, including ticket triage, prioritization, and ensuring SLA adherence
- →Troubleshoot system, integration, and data issues and drive root cause resolution across systems
- →Coordinate testing activities, including defining test scenarios, supporting UAT, and enforcing QA discipline across releases
- →Maintain audit-ready processes, including documentation, traceability, and controlled data corrections
- →Ensure system changes support SOX and ITGC requirements, with a focus on preventive and system-based controls
- →Partner with Finance and IT teams to ensure system design aligns with business requirements and operational needs
- →Support integrations and operational processes across finance, tax, close, compliance, payments, expense management, ecommerce, and reporting platforms.

Requirements
~1 min read- Strong experience with system integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON-based data exchange
- Experience integrating enterprise systems using middleware platforms such as Azure Logic Apps, Boomi, or Informatica
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, validation, and reconciliation
- Experience with scripting or lightweight automation using Python, JavaScript, or C#
- Familiarity with ERP platforms such as Dynamics 365 F&O, NetSuite, or similar solutions
- Experience using AI-assisted development, automation, and productivity tools to improve system support, analysis, testing, and operational efficiency.
- Experience with BillingPlatform or similar subscription billing systems
- Experience supporting ERP implementations such as Dynamics 365 F&O, or NetSuite
- Experience in SOX-controlled environments and familiarity with audit requirements
- Exposure to SaaS or usage-based billing models
- Experience supporting or integrating enterprise applications such as subscription billing, tax engines, financial close solutions, expense management, payment platforms, ecommerce systems, compliance tools, or treasury applications.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in finance systems, ERP, or systems integration roles
- Experience working with Finance or Accounting teams and supporting production systems
- Experience troubleshooting integrations and resolving data issues in production environments
- Bachelor’s degree or higher education

The base salary range of this opportunity is listed below and is determined within a range based on factors including qualifications, location and experience. This allows opportunity for growth and development within the role. The base salary offered is part of a total compensation package.
