Assembly Technician

The Assembly Technician at AD Systems is responsible for assembling and preparing products for shipment to the customer. This role primarily works with machines and hand tools to assemble aluminum and wood door components. The role may include support of material handling, quality control, and material packaging. Assembly Technicians may operate machinery, such as forklifts, nail guns, hand drills, and more.

  Understand and interpret product nomenclature, including working from drawings, pick lists, assembly instructions, and technical documentation.

  Prepare and fulfill orders as according to the order specification.

  Operate hand tools, such as grinders, saws, drills, pneumatic nail guns, sanders, and more.

  Perform finishing responsibilities for the product, including quality checks using calipers, tape measures, and levels.

  Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and safety in the work area.

  Prioritize and handle materials to ensure on-time-delivery to the customer per requirements.

• Entry level position. 1+ years of assembly or other manufacturing experienced preferred.

• Experience operating forklifts preferred.

• Ability to produce parts and products to meet quality standards.

• Following safety protocols and maintaining hazard awareness.

• Effective communication skills (verbal and written).

• Basic computer literacy.
