Senior Product Engineer (AI-Native Generalist)

Allied Global is looking for a highly skilled Senior Product Engineer to join an innovative US-based technology company building modern software solutions for the fiber construction and telecom industry.

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior-level engineer who thrives in fast-paced startup environments, enjoys owning features end-to-end, and is passionate about leveraging AI-powered development tools as part of their daily workflow.

You will collaborate directly with founders and senior technical leaders while contributing across backend, frontend, cloud infrastructure, and AI-enabled product features.

• →Build and ship features end-to-end across backend, frontend, and cloud infrastructure
• →Develop scalable services using Go and modern frontend applications with React + TypeScript
• →Work with AWS infrastructure, deployments, integrations, and observability
• →Use AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or similar as part of your core development workflow
• →Contribute to AI-powered product features and integrations
• →Build automated tests and maintain high engineering quality standards
• →Participate in architecture discussions and help shape engineering best practices
• →Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering Leadership, and Founders
• →Work independently in an async-first remote environment

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong experience with:
  • Go OR comparable typed backend languages
  • React.js
  • TypeScript
  • AWS cloud environments
• Experience working across frontend, backend, and infrastructure
• Experience with CI/CD and modern development workflows
• Strong Git/GitHub collaboration practices
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, etc.)
• Comfortable working in Unix/Linux or Mac-based environments
• Strong understanding of software architecture, testing, and scalable systems

• Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, or LLM integrations
• Familiarity with RAG, AI tooling, or agentic workflows
• Experience with:
  • Playwright
  • Vitest
  • GitHub Actions
  • Datadog
• Telecom, GIS, OSP, or infrastructure industry experience
