Order Picker (Distribution Center)

Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment? PACE Supply is seeking motivated Order Pickers to join our team at our Stockton Distribution Center.

This is your chance to:

• Gear Up and Go: Operate order picking equipment like cherry pickers and reach lifts to efficiently select and pack a variety of products.
• Scan and Pick: Utilize radio frequency (RF) guns to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Meet the Challenge: Thrive in a fast-paced environment while consistently meeting company productivity standards.

• →Looks up part numbers, quantities, product locations, and customer information on the computer and/or RF scanner.
• →Refills shelves and racks from overstock, as needed.
• →Receives orders through supervisor from prepared and prioritized work tags.
• →Pulls orders from inventory, assigned zones, manually and/or utilizing forklift.
• →Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a cooperative manner with customers, co-workers and managers.
• →Maintains cleanliness of the overall facility to support safety standards, with an emphasis on the area assigned to the workgroup

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of the job would qualify.

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent education
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal, written, and reading communication skills.
• Dedication to delivering excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Proficient in time management, consistently meeting responsibilities within designated timeframes.
• Collaborative mindset, fostering positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external interactions with customers and manufacturers.
• Basic math skills, including counting and performing computations up to four digits.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills, including keyboarding.
• Proficient in English, including reading, writing, and oral communication.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, considering all factors and recommending appropriate solutions.
• Adherence to workplace rules, methods, policies, and procedures.

Physical Requirements:

• The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50 lbs. regularly. This includes carrying, dragging, and walking with materials, as well as using a hand-truck.
• Prolonged periods of standing or sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Environmental Conditions:

• The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
• Occasionally, the employee may be exposed to high, precarious places and vibration.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
